In order to do this, the first step is to sand down any untreated wood you are working with. The next step is brushing on a thin basecoat layer like Polycrylic, wood stain or acrylic paint. Wait 24-48 hours for the coating to set before applying the vinyl to the wood.

Application: Clean the surface dirt and grease from the glass. Use a lint-free cloth to avoid lint contaminants on the glass.
